You can now push locations from Google Maps to your iOS device

Sometimes the smallest features can differentiate a good app from a great one

With its latest iOS update, Google Maps will now allow users to send an address from their desktop to their iPhone or iPad in the form of a push notification.

If you're logged into the same Google account on your desktop and mobile device, you'll see a little link that reads "Send to device" under the location's address. This feature, first reported by The Verge, is something that Android users have enjoyed since April.

You'll receive a push notification on your iPhone or iPad once you click on the link. It will then open up the address in Google Maps Read more...
