United Airlines plane skids off runway in Houston

A United Airlines flight arriving into Houston from Las Vegas skid off the runway while landing at Bush Intercontinental Airport on Monday morning.

The flight was arriving during inclement weather and slid off the tarmac into the grass when it landed on the runway.

Shortly before landing, the pilot told passengers to prepare for a bumpy ride due to the weather conditions, according to Ashley Paredez, a reporter from Austin who was a passenger on the flight
