Magic Leap offers details on mystery headset, blasts Microsoft Hololens


More details surrounding the mysterious augmented reality and virtual reality company called Magic Leap trickled out this week, giving us more insight into what the secretive startup has planned

During a trip to the company's Florida headquarters, an MIT Technology Review reporter describes looking through "a pair of lenses attached to what looks like metal scaffolding that towers over my head and contains a bunch of electronics and lenses."

Beyond that scant description of the prototype, most of the other details of the meeting focus on how images appear when using the system.
