A peek inside Emirates A380

There is only one word to describe the interior of Emirates Airlines' A380: Extravagant.

The Persian Gulf carrier pays close attention to all of the little details that make this large plane the most luxurious to fly the world's skies. 

Here's some of the photos we took when Sky Talk got a brief tour of the A380 before it took off for Dubai.

The flight normally departs from Terminal D Gate 15 and 16 at 12:40 p.m.

The first level of the A380 has 399 seats in economy class.

Each seat in economy has an in-flight entertainment system with over 1,800 channels.

A spiral staircase in the back of the plane leads up to the on-board lounge/bar area.

The lounge is stocked with liquors, fine wines and champagne for business and first class passengers.

There are 76 business class seats on the upper level of the A380.

Business class passengers are served several meals and have a choice of wines during the 13-hour-plus flight.

There are 14 First Class suites which feature fully lie-flat seats with pajamas for passengers.

Each suite has its own mini-bar and snack basket.

The suites can be closed off when the passenger does not want to be disturbed.
