Industrial Food Machine Video of the Day: Mushroom Mega-Sorter

Industrial Food Machine Video of the Day: Mushroom Mega-Sorter:

Sorting the Mushrooms Havatec
Need to process 20 tons of mushrooms per hour? We've got you covered
Before becoming wrinkly brown pizza toppings or silken gold steak accompaniments, mushrooms take a ride through a scrubbing, sorting industrial processor that prepares them for their kitchen futures. Watch them bounce and fall in this oddly mesmerizing video from mushroom machine-maker Havatec.
The machine can handle between 2 and 20 tons of mushrooms per hour, depending on the size of your mushroom farm. It spreads them out and uses graduated openings to sort them into 10 cap sizes. A conveyor belt aligns them automatically, sorting them into neat, soldierlike rows before their stems are sliced uniformly.
Havatec, based in the Netherlands, also makes a tulip processor and bulb processing machines for flower factories.
