Deer Jet Co. Ltd, China’s largest VIP charter operator, has taken delivery of an Airbus ACJ from the Airbus Corporate Jet Centre (ACJC). This is the ACJC’s first VIP cabin for a Chinese customer and with it Deer Jet becomes the first Chinese operator to dedicate an ACJ to VIP charter flights.
The ACJ cabin was designed by Sylvain Mariat, the ACJC’s in-house creative designer. “Dark wood and white marble are used to create an environment that brings spiritual peace and tranquillity. The balance is created thanks to a contemporary minimalist architectural vocabulary, assembling materials such as dark and bright leather and chrome-nickel metal plating,” said Mariat.
Cabin features include a forward private office with en suite bathroom, and shower. A cozy private office can be reconfigured as a bedroom thanks to a fold-out sofa. This area also includes a 42-in. TV screen.
In the middle of the aircraft a conference area is arranged around two Club-4 seats with large tables. The aft cabin offers 20 electrically-actuated flat-bed cocoon seats, each equipped with large, dedicated video screens. Certificated to carry up to 28 passengers, the cabin features full wi-fi Internet access and an inflight entertainment system.
