OTV-2 launch countdown: "

As NASA and Orbital investigators look into what went wrong with the fairing release system on this morning’s failed Glory mission, officials on the other side of the U.S. at Cape Canaveral AFS, are hoping for better luck with the upcoming launch of the Air Force’s second Orbital Test Vehicle.

With the launch period opening at 3:39 p.m. EST, the OTV-2, also known as the X-37B, is due to be boosted on a United Launch Alliance Atlas V rocket from Space Launch Complex-41 launch pad. More details to follow...
