Lexus Bringing LF-Gh Hybrid Concept to New York Auto Show, Previews Next GS Sedan and Future Face of Lexus

Lexus Bringing LF-Gh Hybrid Concept to New York Auto Show, Previews Next GS Sedan and Future Face of Lexus: "

With auto-show season winding down, Lexus has just released two teaser shots of its New York show debut. Called the LF-Gh hybrid concept—which stands for Lexus Future Grand touring Hybrid—the L-Finesse–inspired design will give us a preview of the forthcoming GS sedan. And, according to Lexus, this concept “conveys original thoughts and ideas that may migrate to future Lexus vehicles on a global scale.”

Press-release grandiosity aside (and even though these teaser images show very little), we have to admit we’re excited for the potential of a Lexus design that isn’t, well, traditional Lexus. The LED headlights and running lights are to be expected, but the angular front fascia and aggressive, wide-mouth grille are a much needed departure from the brand’s ho-hum styling.

We’ll get the full look and rundown when the car hits the show stand later this month (the show is open to the press April 20th and 21st), so be sure to check back then for more details.
